CSCE 3444 - Group Project
View on GitHub
Description:
Study Nest is a mobile app that allows users to create study groups, share study materials, and buy and sell college essentials. I was responsible for the app's marketplace feature, light and dark modes, and authentication flow. This app was created as a group project for my software engineering class.
Tech Stack:
React Native
Expo Tools (Expo CLI, Expo Go, Expo Router)
Supabase
PostgreSQL
Technical Features
Light and Dark themes (this took a lot more effort to figure out than I expected)
Post uploads handled via edge function on the backend to avoid hanging data
Home Server
Description:
A basic home server setup running Proxmox VE. It's still a work in progress and is only running a few things, but I'm hoping to do more with it as I get more comfortable with networking.
Installed Software:
Home Assistant
Linux VMs
Tailscale
Plex
Street Kitty
Winner of UNT Robotics' Botathon 2025
Description:
Street Kitty is a robot built for UNT Robotics' Botathon Season 7 by myself and my friends Austen, Camy, and Elliott. I played more of a supporting role in this project than in other group projects, but I did make some contributions to the design and implementation.
